[CF 1486] BATTLE FOR AZEROTH VERSIONS

If you're looking for BFA-compatible versions of TMW, look no further.
Unfortunately, with all the features that Curse/Twitch/Amazon has removed from Curseforge, including multiple repository forks each with their own file sets, it won't be easy like it was in the past. Here's how to to get the latest:
- Exit WoW if its running.
- Download and install a live version of TMW into your BFA Alpha WoW installation. Use the latest alpha version listed on https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/tellmewhen/files .
- Download https://github.com/ascott18/TellMeWhen/archive/bfa.zip, extract the contents (the files and folders inside "TellMeWhen-bfa"), and copy them right on top of their counterparts in the live version you just installed, choosing to replace all files with the same names.
- Open Interface/Addons/TellMeWhen/TellMeWhen_Options and copy TellMeWhen_Options.toc into Interface/Addons/TellMeWhen_Options/TellMeWhen_Options.toc
- If you want non-English translations, keep the files from live in the TellMeWhen/Localization folder (basically, undo the replacement for these files only)
There are probably lots of things broken right now - please consolidate all issues with the BFA versions into comments on this ticket (preferably complete with stack traces, please).

Things I've noticed so far at a cursory glance:
- Buff/Debuff icons seem broken
- You can't see text typed into the Custom Texture configuration field (wtf?)
I'll probably get started on fixing these and other issues this weekend, but no promises.

Just wanted to double check that I didn't miss something; the comment from you on April 20 says you know about the buffs/debuss and the text not showing up, and the following one says all issues observed are fixed; those issues (icons and text not showing up) are still broken for me.. should they be fixed?
There's a couple of other things I've come across that I'm sure you know about, but I'll mention just incase:
DK rune tracking seems to completely bork tellmewhen; when I make an icon to track a specific rune and then close tellmewhen options, it's like it doesn't "lock" properly; all empty icons are still visible and clickable, and the rune icons don't show up at all. I'm not sure what you mean by stack trace; the closest thing I found was a frame stack? Here is a picture of what happens, with a frame stack of the icon. The icon itself just doesn't work; if I log out and in it disappears (and all the other groups are still stuffed until I delete it).
Using resources as a condition or notification filter seems to not work in some cases; runes, combo points and holy power all don't seem to function as far as I can tell (can't set icon visuals based on these resources). "Check for resources" on the main icon still works and will change the color/alpha of the icon.
Obviously can't use buffs and debuffs as notification/condition rules, I assume that's the same problem as the icons not tracking them either.
When right click dragging icons, no position indicator is visible like it used to be. It still works, can still move/switch/whatever via right click drag, but no indicator of current position during drag.
Is this sort of stuff helpful and is this the right place to put it?

Just to be sure, you downloaded the latest code from https://github.com/ascott18/TellMeWhen/archive/bfa.zip, right? And copied it on top of an existing installation of https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/tellmewhen/files/2553922 ?
I'll take a look at the rune thing.

using an imported profile for DKs from here http://www.chesder.com/death-knight.html
I know it's not for BFA but it is working, apart from spamming this error.

Game laging for few min and then disconnect after trying import string
Posted by CurseForge user Aynni
Nothing I can do about that. Wow doesn't handle pasting of huge amounts of text very well.
If you want to copy your profiles from live to alpha, just copy the whole settings file.

The invalid spell errors are because I haven't updated the spell equivalencies yet. You can ignore them.
Error about \Interface\Addons\tellmewhen_options is one of two things
1) You didn't perform step 4 correctly. You'll know this if the options actually aren't working.
2) Blizzard enabled as special set of errors in beta that essentially don't matter. If the options still work, you can just ignore this.
