This has been happening sometimes ever since I added those while/on condition notifications to the 2nd one. Sometimes after a loading screen these two won't work, it'll just be stuck on whichever one was last viewed. Sometimes it'll randomly unstuck itself, but usually I have to do a /reload to fix it.
Likely has something to do with those notification options and the 2nd aura being shown during an instance transfer?

Not sure what you mean.
- In what way does it not "update properly"?
- What do you mean by "these two won't work"?
- What does "it'll just be stuck on ..." mean? Stuck in what way?
You suggested that it maybe is the notifications on the second icon. Have you tried making an icon identical to the second but without the notifications, and then running both of them side-by-side for a while?

The icon for no earth shield is currently shown, but I have earth shield. It can also be stuck in the reverse way. Does not fix itself until either it does randomly or I reload. I feel like it has something to do with instancing within an area, as it'll happen after a flight path or something.
I've changed the conditionals since then (can post what I currently use if you want). I'll do the side-by-side test now, though.

The top one has zero conditions. It bugged right as I created a new world quest group. Entering TMW options and leaving them (/tmw, two times) makes it update, but only that once.

Seems to still happen. I think it happened when I hearthed, but wouldn't put money on it. I'll try to keep track of it.

1) Definitely still happens even in 8.5.6.
2) Almost definitely tied somehow to phasing/rezoning/load screens.
3) More specifically, the fact that doing the above makes Earth Shield disappear (also makes things like raid buffs disappear, happens to battle shout but it doesn't bug my battle shout aura like this does).
4) Could have something to do with the fact it tracks both player and party1-4 at the same time?

If you can come up with an exact set of steps that will reproduce this reliably, that will be the best way I could track this down.
