  • Adjusting any of the settings has no effect on the target marker and this entire function doesn't work for me for some reason

I just tested this and target markers work fine for me (scaling, positioning). Not sure why it should not work for you. As test, can you create a new profile with default settings and check if it works after that? I don't think that it could be a sideeffect with another addon, so currently I am a bit clueless about why this should be happening for you.
