After the latest Classic Era patch every NPC has "Friendly" as their status text no matter what i change to in options

Here, it shows the correct status text. Can you post a screenshot with the tooltip of a unit that shows the wrong status text. I want to make sure that the tooltip isn't changed by some addon which could cause this.

I guess the tooltip stucture has changed, that's why it does not find the correct information. Thanks for reporting this, I'll look into it.

Found it. If you enable CVar colorblindMode, your reputation is shown in the tooltip which results in Threat Plates not reading the correct line (no. 2). If you want to fix it quickly, just set colorblindMode to 0. I'll try to add a fix takes this setting into account when scanning the tooltip.
