- Is there currently any way to get the nameplates to follow the same appearance rule as the NPC Names showing in the default Blizzard options?
- For friendly NPC's especially, I only want to see the quest/chat/vendors since I basically use Tidy Plates as a replacement for names altogether in the game world.
* Maybe even an option for an icon showing if they were a current Quest/Merchant/Repair NPC. - If at all possible, of course.

- So.... wow has an option to show names/namplates of npc's that offer quests or that are interactive and NOT show nameplates of non-interactive npc's. The appeal is obvious, I don't have to see names of npc's that I'll never 1 with.

- Is it possible to get /tptp to link with the blizzard option of what NPCs I'd like to see displayed? Currently if I select NPCs ALL of them will be visible even if my blizzard option is to only show Quest, hostile, or interactive?
- Plater has a solution for this issue
- Plater.CheckForNpcType
- Extract number from GUID
- Match number against a set of NPC-IDs => type ID
- Plater.CheckForNpcType

- Is it possible to only hide normal friendly/netural nameplates and leave normal enemy nameplates still showing?
- I was more thinking about the option under General -> Visibility -> Hide nameplates -> Normal Units. What I would like to do is to just hide normal friendly and/or neutral NPCs and keep normal enemy name plates visible. Hope that makes more sense?
- Hi again! I just wanted to give you a update on the visibility issue I was having. I've found a temporary workaround that seems to fulfill my wishes rather nicely. Instead of trying to remove all normal friendly/neutral units I instead hide specific nameplates using the Custom Nameplate option.

- And, to conclude, activating the "normal nameplate" from the "hide nameplate" section also hides neutral and agrressive ones which is a major issue. If not checked then i m forced to have nameplates of random friendly NPC displayed when i only want to have the ones from friendly NPC that are related to one of my quests or providing a service (merchant, flymaster, etc) or named.

- Hide or rather filter Non-Titled Friendly NPCs
