    • Missing the usual skull marker for some rare mobs
    • noticed these mobs are the ones that are listed in the "Bloody Rare" achievement.

    • The default Blizzard plates have two versions of the elite icon - a silver one to indicate that you have not yet killed and looted the target, and then a gold one when it respawns to indicate that you have already killed and looted it today.
    • This is useful on Argus presently, where there are a lot of rares that can only be looted once per day, so that you can easily see what you have or have not killed if you are looking to farm Veiled Argunite for example.
    • Currently the Threat Plates elite icon displays as a yellow star by default, but doesn't change colour or appearance to let you know that a rare has already been killed. Would it be possible to add a silver star perhaps, and have it turn to gold once the target has been looted for the day?
    • I know there is already an issue listed regarding the Elite Icon vanishing in combat, but I wasn't sure whether this would be considered as part of the same topic, so I've added it as a separate issue.
    • => Rare mobs turn to elite mobs in Argus after the first kill!

Ok, just did some investigation :) The skull icon is only shown for bosses, not for rares. Actually, as  you initially wrote, there is currently no indicator for rares (and never has been, I think). It would be easy to show the skull icon (or the elite icon) also for rares. I'll think about this how to handle it best (use existing icons or add a new one).

Options mention "rare" mobs, not boss mobs - but that's used in the sourcecvode (unit.isBoss)
