Describe the bug

with BetterBags installed when hovering over inventory items the game first starts to lag then freeze up.
I initially opened a case with BetterBags (Cidan/BetterBags#638) but was told that the issue must be with TipTac

Steps to Reproduce

have betterbags installed
hover mouse over several item
game starts to freeze

Expected behavior

game should not start freezing when hovering over inventoryitems

same behavior to a lesser extend can be duplicated with the default bags if you rapidly move your mouse around and change item types rapidly.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this on my side. Everything works fine with BetterBags and TipTac under CataC and I have no freezing or lagging.

Maybe you have an CPU profiling addon installed, such as "Addon CPU Usage" or "WeakAura Profiler"? This consumes a considerable amount of CPU ressources.

You can disable script profiling with the following chat commands:

/run SetCVar("scriptProfile, "0")
/reload

Or paste your export string with your current config (TipTac options->button "misc"->Settings->Export) here in this ticket and I give it another try with this one.

i'm having the same issue, but i don't have betterbags installed. hovering over items, particularly in the character pane, causes micro-stuttering. i have tried disabling other addons but the issue persists and is only resolved when disabling tiptac. the micro-stuttering/freezing is particularly noticeable if you are moving while rapidly hovering over items, especially in the character pane (not sure why). it causes an FPS drop of approximately 20-30 fps (normal FPS in dornogal is ~70, dropped down to ~40) while moving the mouse over various equipped items.

@frozn do you have Deja Character Stats or a similar addon installed? the issue seems to resolve when installing a prior version, but if you're having the problem too and you don't have that addon installed, then perhaps there is a Blizzard issue that was introduced during the latest patch? That seems unlikely, though.

I disabled Deja Character Stats and that seems to fix it
