Describe the bug
From: bumqtv
The recent update has cause my tooltip anchors to not be what it use to be. It use to be when I mouse over my skills on my action bar they would be parent anchor. and when I mouse over a mailbox it would be on mouse anchor. but now it seems that frame tip type applies to both action bars and world type stuff like mailbox, chest, etc. Not sure what changed with tooltip anchor, but it work perfectly before.
Another example, it use to be when I mouse over a player it was set to mouse anchor, and when I mouse over my own unit frame it was parent anchor. But now they both function the same, when I remember they were separate anchors
In reply to bumqtv:
Unfortunately I can't reproduce this. When I set "World Unit Type = Mouse Anchor" and "Frame Unit Type = Parent Anchor" the world unit tooltips are next to my mouse and my unit frame's tooltip is next to the unit frame.
And when I set "Frame Tip Type = Parent Anchor" and "World Tip Type = Mouse Anchor" my action bar and mailbox tooltips are anchor as expected.
Does this also occur if you disable all other tooltips except TipTac? under which WoW flavor does this occur?
So I've tried deleting the saved lua file thinking it might be a corrupt save file. But that wasn't the case. Next thing I've tried is only enabling your addon, and all the anchors work as intented. So I guess it is related to one of my addons. I run quite a bit of addons, so this is going to take a bit to figure out. Will get back to you once I find the culprit.
So it seems the addon OPie affects some of the tiptac anchors some how. Not sure what I could do to fix this without disable OPie. Otherwise I could just have all my tooltip set to mouseover anchor, which isn't bad, but not perfect.
