Hi you two,
I was playing around with a friend again.
After using only inner items when trading stuff, my previous problem was solved. However when the person that received the item used it the emote that I embedded was not shown public. The person could see that they did emote, but I could not.
When I did use that item it was broadcasted in public.
Is this something due to security settings? Where can I change them.
TRP3-Settings > Extended or Chat Settings was not obviously the place to change that :\

This is the intended behavior. As indicated in the security level label on top of your item workflow, effects that can be armful to people are flagged as requiring the user authorization to run. When you trade an item with someone they will see an icon on the trading screen that they can click to review the potentially armful effects and authorize them or not. For items that you already have you can alt-click on the item in your bag to edit that items authorizations. You can also access this by right-clicking the item in the database.
You can't make an item bypass this security system as it is the whole purpose of the security system ^^

You are right that we are missing hints and that it is not intuitive. I like your suggestions (although I cannot say if everything is feasible, I will have to see with Kajisensei for that).
I have re-opened your ticket, set it as an enhancement and change the title so it reflects more the fact that we need to be clearer in the UI :)

Thanks,
its just that there is absolutely no discription of features aside from the tutorial mode (might be my bad, that I have not seen that hint sofar).
I dont want to bypass it, I love that feature and I think you solved it brilliantly...I am glad to know, why it behaves that way now!
Just a suggestion:
Why not add a screen to your "Extended Objects" as a new tab with "Not authorized effects" grouped by the creator of that object.
When you select the Creator by clicking the name a popup would appear to ask "Authorize all effects of that person?" > Y/N.
On use of that object, I would think it would also be nice to add a: "(suppressed due to security authorisation) at the end of "Speech"-effects. Not every user is a creator and so its maybe a bit hard to tell, why something is behaving the way it is...for some people :)
I have not received an item yet and so I had not yet made the experience...sorry for creating a ticket :(
