Bar Text Error at end after IF/ELSE for 1 letter

When entering bar text that is a single character after an IF block with no ELSE block, the text won't appear unless there is a space. Example:

{$trueshotTime}[$trueshotTime sec]T requires a space before T to show. If it was "TT", it would show just fine.

More context -- if it is a single letter at the end of bar text outside of either an IF or ELSE block it will not display.
