Presently to "disable" the bar on a supported spec you don't want to use it for, you need to set the option "Never show bar (run in background)". This only hides the UI and prevents any bar/threshold/color specific calculations from happening, but everything else continues to run under the hood.

Ideally, a separate option should be available to disable the bar for an entire spec where it won't run at all, just as if you were using it on a spec that didn't have support.

Add a new help menu for this (under "Global Options"? maybe rename?) and list all supported specs there.
