Possible enhancements to threshold line icons:

#229 added some better icon overlap logic to manage lots of icons.

TBD if I want to add the other features.

Color shading could be achieved via icon:SetVertexColor(R, G, B)

Just did a quick+dirty implementation of color shading on the icons -- it looks horrible. Removing it as work to be done.
