Description

With TBC:C things like a Rogue’s Sword Specialisation (5% chance to proc an extra attack) no longer reset the swing timer.

I believe that the inbuilt WeakAura’s MH swing timer functionality is registering any normal white hit from the Main Hand swing and resetting the timer.

This results in a simple swing timer bar ‘double resetting’ during a swing when there is a proc.
It resets when there is a extra swing proc, then resets a moment later when the ‘real’ main hand swing is complete.

Reproduction Steps

Set up a simple MH swing timer bar.
Ensure the rogue has talents in sword specialisation.
Equip the rogue with a sword in the main hand
Use sinister strike when the ‘swing timer’ is halfway through a swing.
Watch for a sword specialisation proc and watch the swing timer bar ‘double reset’ within a second
