Create own custom templates

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am always annoyed when I use the current templates because they do not meet my needs. Changing them every time is tedious in the long run. It would be great if you could create your own templates for the skills.

Describe the solution you'd like
New Aura > From Template > Text/Symbol/etc > Create custom Template

We need a lot more information on:

  1. What you find lacking about the current templates
  2. What you actually mean with a "custom template".

What you find lacking about the current templates
What you actually mean with a "custom template".

All templates are already preset by you. My wish would be to be able to make my own sizes, my own settings and to be able to call that with one click again and again to make new templates and to be able to connect new abilities with them.

What do you mean with "my own settings". What kind of settings do you have in mind?

You already have preset templates with certain functions. For example, since I only work with symbols, I would like to build my own preset symbol: Own size of 45 height and width, provide preset triggers to add only the ability, prepare preset conditions, activate preset functions already in it when loading.

Ah, so #983 and #2948 then cover that in parts.

You can apply a template to an existing aura

Downside is it doesn't handle creation of multiple auras at once

I did my best, but I would imagine something like this.

The trouble with your screenshot is that it implies:

  • There's a way to add custom templates to the templates. How?
  • There's a way to remove custom templates from the templates How?
  • Is there a way to share custom templates?
  • How are custom templates modified?

There are answers to all of these, but I'm afraid that's a rather unrealistic amount of work.

Why not create your own shell aura that has all the presets you want and name that your template and just duplicate it anytime you need it. (And keep it on load never)
