Swing Timer triggers not working for Retribution Paladin

Description
Unsure if this applies to any other classes as well. Seems like maybe a 2 hand weapon thing?
Swing timer triggers do not currently do anything. They are never considered active to cause a weakaura to appear and they do not contain any information for a progress bar or something to use.
I am using a simple trigger set to Player/Unit Info > Swing Timer > Main Hand (Off Hand also does not work)
I also tried using the inverse and remaining time options but that did not seem to change anything.
I also tried copying another currently-working swing timer from my demon hunter and adjusting it to load on ret paladin and it does not work either.

you forgot the mention that you took a talent that completely replaces your autohits with a spell
Your auto attacks get replaced, and thus the events for the auto attacks are missing. There are events for crusading strikes, but we don't want to add a special case just for retribution paladins to that trigger.
There are suitable auras on wago, e.g. https://wago.io/5juqfYglj that handle that.
