It appears that the patch for wrath significantly revised the handlers related to the quest log frame and I haven't been able to figure out how to re-implement this functionality. I'm probably not going to spend more time trying to fix this, as wrath makes Wide Quest Log unnecessary and effectively eliminates the already low visibility/usage of this addon.
