After patch 8.0 I noticed XIV databar has disappeared completely from the user interface options menu. I am no longer able to move the bar, change the colors, change what currency is being tracked. No manual typed out command will work either. I've tried deleting my WTF folder and clearing the cache, uninstalling mod - reinstalling mod. Even tried it on a completely different computer that had never had WoW installed therefore no WTF folder for addons at all and it still will not work.

Hi, I am not able to reproduce this effect. The steps you employed seems to me to be an efficient way to resolve such error. So far I cannot tell you more about it.
I am eager to know what happened on your side to cause such behavior
