Latest KEP patch version: 1.5 (14.12.2014)

The Kerbal Enhancement Project aims to overhaul KSP using the best essential mods around, with a complete rebalance of every parts according to the StockRebalance standards. The KEP patch contains ModuleManager config files and some redistributed files.

Installation

Specific Mods Instructions
  • AIES Aerospace: install only the 5 solar panels (AIES_Aerospace/Electrical/AIESsolarpanel*).
  • DMagic Orbital Science: do not install the CTT patch (DMagic Ortibal Science/Resources/DMagicCommunityTechTree.cfg).
  • SXT: install only the following files and folders:
    • SXT/Agencies/*
    • SXT/*.cfg
    • SXT/OldAssets/*
    • SXT/Parts/Control/RCSBoon/*
    • SXT/Parts/Electrical/solarHex/*
    • SXT/Parts/Hull/CarboBay1/*
    • SXT/Parts/Hull/NASA25m/*
    • SXT/Parts/Hull/RadialFuel/*
    • SXT/Parts/Utility/CrashPad/*
Patch Instructions

Drop the GameData folder from the ZIP inside your KSP installation folder.

When starting a new game, TechManager will ask you to choose a tech tree. Click on "Enable" then select the Community Tech Tree.

Compatibility

The KEP Patch is compatible with Ferram Aerospace Research, Hot Rocket, TAC Life Support and the Community Resource Pack.

This version of KEP Patch is NOT recommended to use with Real Solar System and the Realism Overhaul Project.

Please do not install any mod at the same time of KEP that modify the stock parts and/or the same mods parts, or there will be conflicts!

Be cautious when you install mods with parts not handled by KEP, as they could be unbalanced.
