ResearchBodies is a mod that adds the functionality of researching bodies to explore them. When you start a new save, you can only travel to Kerbin (genius !), Mun, and the Sun. Researching process seems easy and chip at the beginning : 20 funds and 10 science per research (configurable, see below). But the more bodies you found, the longer the process will be and the more you'll have to spend money and science.
ResearchBodies is highly configurable. You can change cost values (science, funds), the chances you have to find a body, you can disable the mod in sandbox mode and you can 'ignore' bodies so they are available from start.

From the space center, you can access to a simple menu by clicking on the top right-hand corner button. The mod window opens up, and you can click the 'Search bodies in a new zone' button. If nothing happens, then you didn't find a body. If you find a body, a message saying you find a body will appear. Sometimes you find a planet and one of its satellites in the same time !

Configuration
To configure the mod, open your game directory, then go into the GameData then ResearchBodies folders. Open the database.cfg file in a basic text editor like Notepad++ or Notepad.
In here you can change values that you want, or add a body in the IGNORE list.
To disable the mod in sandbox mode, change enableInSandbox value to false
