Atlas-Agena was an American expendable launch system derived from the SM-65 Atlas missile. Vehicle consised of an Atlas first stage and an Agena second stage. Vehicle was used in Ranger, Mariner, Gemini, Lunar Orbiter, Midas, Gambit and many Military programs. The vehicle operated out of Launch Complex 12, 13 and 14 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Space Launch Complex 3 and 4 at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
