General
These rockets are made for efficent cargo transport in LKO. All rockets work like Space X´s Falcon 9 rockets with pushback maneuver, but in my version you can also land the second stage (called Orbiter
)! The only difference between this rockets is the size and the amount of payload. The landing procedure is the same style in all versions.
Flightplan
- Start up to 95-100 km altitude, decouple and switch to the Orbiter
- give full throttle to 90° with Orbiter and switch back to the Mainstage
- perform pushback maneuver (like video) and set the landing point to the KSC (I use Trajectory mod for this)
- switch again to the Orbiter (with tracking station) and circularize, switch back to mainstage and be ready to land it
- activate s

on navball, retrograde and the brakes (activate aerobrakes), descend to ~1000m before surface and slow down with full throttle. Activate landing gear (G) and land the mainstage with max. 12 m/s. Close before touchdown activateradial out
on navball to prevent heavy position correction - to land the Orbiter perform a descent maneuver with -800 m/s (or more) to the KSC and land it like the mainstage
