Usage tips

MechJeb is highly recommended if you are not experienced at placing a craft in low orbit. Target altitude should be 72km. Any higher than 72km, and you may not have enough DV to complete the orbit.  In test runs, approximately 500 DV remained after achieving orbit.

Shortly after takeoff, detach the rear adapter from the craft to reduce weight. This adapter is only used as a structural support during launch.

Once orbit has been achieved, refuel, replace engines and attach landers as necessary, and it's on to the rest of the solar system. With properly upgraded engines and management of transfer windows, this SSTO should have the capability to take you anywhere in the solar system.
