This is a ship that is a replica of NASA's current Crew SLS (Space Launch System). It was made in KSP v0.23.5 (NASA Update), and therefore works in more recent versions. You can compare it to the picture below (in the spoiler). In the video above I build and launch the spacecraft. This is the first spacecraft I have built that can achieve orbit on its own, with excess fuel as a bonus. It is on the second stage when I achieved orbit, but I cut that out of the video for time's sake. And to top it off, it is made of ALL STOCK PARTS!
To Launch:
Make sure SAS and RCS are on until you have to make your gravity turn. You pretty much always want RCS on because of the low torque and slow turning. At the beginning of the launch, you will probably bounce off of the launch towers, but as you see in the video above, you just have to keep trying to level yourself out.
