Soyuz is an active expendable launch system. It is formerly operated by Roskosmos. Soyuz is built in 4 variants: Soyuz-FG, Soyuz 2.1a, 2.1b, 2.1v. Soyuz-FG has been used to launch Soyuz spacecraft with crew to International Space Station. Soyuz 2.1a has been used to launch Progress to International Space Station. The vehicle operates out of Launch Sites 1/5 and 31/6 at Baikonur, sites 41 and 16 at Plesetsk, site 1S at Vostochny and Ensemble de Lancement Soyouz (Soyuz Launch Complex) at Kourou.
