Many spells produce fire particles when they shouldn't

Many spells, such as boon and kill, most notably kill produce fire particles instead of the particles they should, as if the fire particle was default somehow.

This is on Paper 1.19.4 with Magic 10.8.7.

Upon running fxdemo, it looks to me like the default particle became fire and that the proper particle isn't specified in the spells.

Was the default particle previously redstone perchance? (And is there any way to configure it?)

It does look like some time ago the code was refactored and we lost the correct default for ColoredImageEffect, possibly other effects.

I may revert that change but want to look at it some more.

In the meantime, you can always put particle: redstone on an effect to use the redstone particle- hope that helps as a workaround for now!

The default particles should be fixed in the next dev build- sorry about that! Crazy how that went unnoticed (or at least unreported here) for a year or so.
