There is a bug with Torch.
After casting the spell,there is a torch on the block.
Then breaking the block,the torch will drop.
However,it would not drop if you break the torch by clicking it.

Unfortunately this is very difficult to detect. There is currently a draft event, BlockDropItemEvent, in Spigot 1.13 that I could use to fix this problem.

But I'd have to wait for it to be non-draft, and I'd have to drop backwards compatibility for all previous versions of Spigot. So this may get fixed in Magic 8, one day. For now though I don't see a way around it, unfortunately.
