Voxelight Place:
If your console is getting a "Could not pass..." error everytime you place a block make sure to update to 1.1.7
In the 1.8 update a few blocks were removed from the game, such as water blocks, 43:8, lava blocks, full piston blocks, and many other so called "technical blocks", which you're no longer allowed to have in your inventory, as a result of this, creative servers no longer have a way of letting players use these blocks without giving them WorldEdit, which many people are (understandably) hesitant to do. The command format is /place [blockId or name]:[dataValue], for example /place 43 or /place DoubleSlab:8. This will rename the block in your hand to the data value, and when you try to place the block it will change it the the block you were trying to /place. A block you have through /place will only be placeable by the person who spawned it, and it can't be renamed to place a different block, so people can't bypass permissions. This plugin allows the user to customize item/block names, (including foreign language, if you do so please message me a copy of the language edit so I can include it in this page). Permissions:

Installation:
Place the jar file in the /plugins directory of your server and restart/reload and you'll be good to go :D.
If you'd like to change any of the names you use to spawn in blocks navigate to plugins/Voxelight-Place/config.yml and either edit a name by finding it in the list or give a block a new name by doing the following.

- 4=Cobblestone
- 4=Cobble
- 4=CustomName
It's important that no blocks have the same name, but they can share id's. (For example StoneBlock and Stone both share an id)
