Welcome to the Wave Survival plugin!
This plugin adds a brand new challenge to the world of Minecraft!
In this plugin, you fight against waves of mobs that get increasingly more difficult with every wave that passes.
Can you make it to Wave 100? Or will you die trying?
Plugin Guide:
Please do note that it is not required to read this guide, only find it necessary to read it if you are having an issue or are confused! Treat it like a wiki!
Basic Information:
A new wave begins every 1 minute, however it is recommended to change this value to better fit your playstyle. If you are doing a quick challenge run/speedrun with this plugin, it is recommended you keep this value. However, if you are doing a longer-style SMP playthrough, you may want to change it to 5 to 10 minutes.
To change this value, see the "Settings" section below.
This plugin has 2 main values, the wave and the floor.
The wave defines the entities that spawn and the base amount that spawn. The floor defines the multiplier to the amount of mobs that spawn.
For example, on Wave 3 | Floor 1, three zombies spawn. However, on Wave 3 | Floor 3, 9 zombies spawn.
The wave goes up every time a new wave spawns. When Wave 100 is passed, the floor goes up by one, and the wave is reset back to one.
Commands:
- /start <wave> <floor>
- Starts the wave survival at the specified wave and floor. Both arguments are optional and default to 1 if they are not given.
- /wavesettings <setting> <value>
- Sets the specified setting to the specified value. Both arguments are required. Acts similarly to the /gamerule command.
- All settings and possible values:
- actionText:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: true)
- Shows or hides the action text (displayed above hotbar) that tells you when the next wave will begin.
- logWaves:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: true)
- Shows or hides the wave number in the server console/logs.
- mobEquipment:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: true)
- Toggles whether some mobs will spawn with equipment or not. Note that disabling this will cause some mobs to burn or not be able to attack you.
- offlineTimer:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: false)
- Toggles whether the timer goes down when all players have left the server.
- showTitles:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: true)
- Shows or hides the title that shows the wave and floor number, along with the mobs in the wave.
- spawnRadius:
- Valid Values: 1 - 50 (default: 5)
- Sets the radius around you that mobs can spawn in. Note that it says that this is closer to diameter, but that is a mistake. Setting this to high values may cause lag.
- timeChange:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: true)
- Allows or disallows mobs such as spiders to change the time to night so that they may attack you without you having to hit them first.
- uncappedFloorLevel:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: false)
- Allows the floor level to go above 5. It is not recommended to go above Floor 5 due to performance reasons.
- uncappedWaveLevel:
- Valid Values: true, false (default: false)
- Allows the wave level to go above 100. Note that this only means that one extra wither will spawn at each additional level.
- waveTimer:
- Valid Values: 3 - 3600 (default: 1200)
- This number represents the time you must wait before a new wave begins.
