No, I wouldn't use interact unless you want to allow chest access.

I need /rg info of the relevant regions (all regions displayed by right clicking a block with the leather item). Also, /wg report -p would be nice.

I would normally ask what error message you get, but it appears you disabled error messages.

I ran that command in the same region as my screenshots above
/wg debug testinteract -t Naurelien

Naurelien is a non-op player on my server and was looking at a wooden door
He can't open the door
It's not in the spawn protection area

Some more details if it may help :
Naurelien (non-op player) can still open/close trap doors, use levers etc ...
Only wooden doors are affected and cannot be opened/closed

Unless it breaks something, disable WG entirely (remove the jar) and see what happens?

The door can be opened / closed when Worldguard isn't loaded

With interact flag set to allow, users can open/close the door, but shouldn't it be the use flag that concerns doors ?

The only regions I was in when being confronted with this issue are "paintball" and "global" though

I tried WG build 1570 and now even with the flags interact and use set to allow, users can't open doors.

can't reproduce. it seems like you're using third-part WG addons too, perhaps try disabling those.
if this is still an issue feel free to comment again.
