- I am using the most recent Minecraft release.
- I am using a version of WorldEdit compatible with my Minecraft version.
- I am using a version of WorldGuard compatible with my Minecraft version.
- I am using the latest or recommended version of my platform software.
- I am NOT using a hybrid server, e.g. a server that combines Bukkit and Forge. Examples include Arclight, Mohist, and Cardboard.
- I am NOT using a fork of WorldEdit, such as FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) or AsyncWorldEdit (AWE)
Bug Description
After this particular commit to Paper players no longer have access to newly claimed regions. UUIDs are calculated from their lowercase nicknames, which is plain wrong. All the other plugins work correctly, so it's a WorldGuard issue.
Expected Behavior
Players having access to their newly claimed regions
Reproduction Steps
- Install Paper >= 263
- Install WorldGuard
- Try to do something in a region after claiming it

Please stop blaming offline mode users for piracy, you don't even know for what reasons the servers are running offline mode. It's an official feature supported by Mojang. Just left your moral considerations away from development. Thanks.
