i found out, that the breaking of itemframes ist not possible, because of they are not really there.

if i set one itemframe and do a relog. itemframe is gone.

if a set itemframe and set for example a dirt block on the position of the itemframe. the itemframe drops AND duplicates.
i can pick it up.

Steps to reproduce? Version numbers? Is it in a region by chance?
If you put dirt in the same block, the itemframe will obviously drop. However, you just said that a) it's not really there but b) you can pick it up, which contradicts with itself.
