A glass wall will construct everywhere you go. This wall is to show you where you can no longer go. If you cross paths with any player, you'll die. The goal is to kill the Ender Dragon. Everyone is working as a team, this is not a competitive challenge.
You'll notice that the glass wall lags slightly behind you, so you always have 1-2m of clearance. You can use this to backtrack 1m, but once there's a glass wall, it's unsafe to go there, even if the glass blows up or you're standing on top of the glass wall.
Safe Spots and Safe Zones
A Safe Spot is created when you enter a new x/z coordinate standing on safety blocks, or when you place a safety block. These are:
* Bedrock
* Crying Obsidian
* End Portal Frame
* Obsidian
* Respawn Anchor
When you stand in a safe spot, particles around you will tell you where is safe:
* Cyan particles = safe spot
* Yellow particles = about to become glass wall, can be made safe by placing a safety block.
* Ash particles = Neutral, can be made safe by placing or standing on a safety block.
There are four Safe Zones, which are like safe spots but extend to a wider square area. They have cyan particles bordering them. The safe zones are:
* Spawn: A 7x7 safe zone. Time doesn't begin until you leave the spawn platform, so you can wait for your friends to log on.
* End Portal: A 21x21 safe zone. If the game Safe End Portals is ON, filling in one eye of ender to any end portal will stop new glass walls from spawning. The ones you already made will stick around though!
* End Platform: A 5x5 safe zone. You always spawn on an obsidian platform in The End. It becomes a safe zone so many people can safely come through.
* Dragon Platform: An 11x11 safe zone. Centered on the bedrock platform thing in the middle of the End island.
Trapped
You have to be careful to not trap yourself and other teammates. In case you are trapped, breaking stained glass will give you a chat prompt you can click on to kill yourself.
Colors
You can join one of the 8 teams to change your glass wall color. It makes it easier to deduce who trapped you in.
Gamerules
There are five gamerules and they are all OFF by default.
* Permadeath: No respawning allowed.
* Punch Skeletons: All archer skeletons have punch II bows?
* Random Walls: If you linger, random glass walls will spawn around you. If no new glass walls were built of your color for the last 20 seconds, a new glass wall will spawn 2-5m away from you in a random place.
* Low Walls: Lower walls so it's less laggy (you still die if you cross over them). Part of the aesthetic of this challenge is the huge glass walls that go up to y=191, but if your PC can't handle that, then these low walls will only go up to y=127.
* Safe End Portals: When you fill in an ender eye, a 20x20 safe zone is created around the end portal. Strongholds are tricky! You may inadvertently cut yourself off! This can help with that.
