The Decrafter is a new type of crafter I've been working on for the past 2 years! What does it do? Well the name is kinda self explanatory, but I'll still try my best to explain :)
The Decrafter is a end game crafter that can be used to decraft items/blocks into their original recipes. for example: 1 furnace can decraft into 8 cobblestone, 4 planks can decraft into a log, to slabs can decraft into its original block, i think you get the gist.
in order to obtain the Decrafter, you must first enter The End where you can find a new mob that i have added called Enderbunnys! Don't be fooled by their adorableness, they are extremely deadly, and will do anything to try and kill you. they will occasionally drop enderpearls, as well as a new type of gem, Enderveirs!
once you obtain 5 Enderveirs, you can return home and create the Decrafter! you will also need 4 wooden planks (any type) in order to craft the Decrafter (see gallery above for the recipe)
Now that you have the Decrafter, how do you use it? simply put as many items/blocks of any kind (that ofc has a crafting recipe, like a furnace. you cant craft a saddle, so don't expect to be able to decraft it XD) into the input slot, then wait for the 2 second cool down, and POOF! your furnace has broken down back into its original form (8 cobblestone)
Partial Recipes:
Partial Recipes are VERY useful for things like "getting rid of that 1 door you'll never use". the way they work is simple, say you have 4 doors and you want to decraft all of them. If you try and put them all in at once, it will not work because doors are a 3 output recipe. So what you do, is first put 3 doors in, and after they finish decrafting, put in the last door, and instead of getting all 6 planks back, you will only get 2!
A Few Notes:
- if you want to stay up to date on everything retated to the Decrafter, check out the Trello Page or the Discord Server
- if for example you want to decraft something that has more then one output (fences, sticks, iron bars, ect.) then you will need to make sure you put into the input slot the amount of items it would output. Like how when you craft a fence, the crafting table outputs 3 fences, so you need to be sure that when you decraft fences, that you put into the input slot an amount divisible by 3 (unless specified as a Partial Recipe)
- Sadly you can not hopper items out of the decrafter :(
- Dispensers are the only item that you will have to decraft one at a time, the rest you can decraft as many at a time that minecraft will let you
- Cake is very special, in order to decraft cake, you need to put 3 empty buckets in the top three output slots first
- In order to decraft items with durability (pickaxe, shears, armor, ect.) they need to have full durability
- Rising Dawn Network (Owner: TobyMinceraft) is the first server to implement the Decrafter into their server.
- WARNING!! THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WHEN USING THE DECRAFTER IN THE LATEST SNAPSHOT (20w11a)!
if you try to use the 2x2 crafting grid with the decrafter enabled, the items in the grid and output will disappear. However in 1.15.x this issue isnt existent. sadly this is a Minecraft bug and there's noting i can do about it except wait for the next snapshot
