Choose Your UI (or CYU for short) is a resource pack project that gives Minecraft players full control over the look of their UI.
Frustrated by the lack of flexibility in existing UI overhauls, I created CYU to let you mix and match individual components by color and theme — your UI, your rules.
📦 This is the Complete Collection
This download includes all Choose Your UI components in every available color.
Installing this pack will add over 40 resource packs to your game - one for each color and component combination.
You can then enable, disable, and reorder them however you like to create your ideal UI setup.
If you prefer to download only specific components or colors, you can find each one uploaded individually on CurseForge as well (see the Available Components section below for links).
🛠️ How It Works
- Go to the Files Tab and download the latest
.zip
file. (Click "View All" if you don’t see it right away.) - Unzip the downloaded archive. Inside, you’ll find all CYU component folders — one for each color and UI element.
- Copy and paste all the folders from the unzipped archive into your Minecraft resource pack folder.
- Launch the game and enable any number of the packs in the resource pack menu.
To mix and match components, just rearrange the packs in the order you want them to apply.
The ones on top will override the ones below.
🎨 Optional: Colored Level Text
Want your level number to match your experience bar color?
You can use the Polytone mod to do just that!
CYU already includes the required configuration — just install Polytone alongside the resource pack, and your level number will automatically display in the correct color.
No setup needed.
This feature is completely optional and not required for CYU to function, but it’s a great way to complete the look!
🔄 Compatibility
Choose Your UI is compatible with any other resource pack.
It’s designed to overwrite only specific UI elements, so it won’t interfere with your other textures or visual mods.
Just place CYU at the top of your resource pack loading order, and you're good to go!
🧩 Available Components
Currently supported UI components include:
Each component has its own CurseForge page where you can preview colors and download them individually.
Just click the links above to explore and grab the ones you want.
More UI elements are in development and will be added based on community feedback.
