Hatespawn are new enemies that make the game quite a bit harder. unlike most mobs the Hatespawn do not attack but instead summon minions. But since they have much health they can summon an army before they die.
Hatespawn can spawn anywhere in the overworld at night. Like most monsters they burn during the day.
In creative a new spawn Egg has been added to summon the Hatespawn on your own.
