This is a datapack for the Origins mod. Should work on newer versions, even if it's the forge version.
- These are not races but powers manifested by the user's psyche. (Important: they work the same as regular origins)
- They don't have downsides and as such are overpowered comapared to most other origins. That is intentional.
- Recommended to use a datapack that disables other origins along this one.
- Some text may be hard to read on the origins select screen, but i'm not fixing that.
- The last origin is intentionally more powerful. (Restrict it's use in a server environement to a few people or admins)
- Some abilities can be toggled on and off. The toggle abilities amplify the base potential of the inner origins. They use the primary ability key.
- If an Origin has an effect immunity in one of it's toggled powers, but you get hit with that effect before toggling it, the effect will be inflicted and won't get removed. Be ready, don't get surprised.
Inner Origins
Orphicanima – Domain: Water
Passive Ability:
- Deep dive: Triple xp, magic immunity, waterbreathing
Toggled Abilities:
- Aquatic Augments: Underwater sight, underwater block breaking, decreased underwater sinking, increased swim speed
- Fluid Step: Water walking (crouch to submerge)
Singepneuma – Domain: Underground
Passive Ability:
- Energy core: Fire immunity, sight in lava, 75% explosion ressistance
Toggled Abilities:
- Self sustaining: Natural food bar recharge
- Subdweller: See in the dark, immunity to blindness and darkness effects, mine most blocks with hands, increased break speed
Rathespirit – Domain: Land
Passive Ability:
- Pertinacious: Halved exhaustion, hunger effect immunity
Toggled Abilities:
- Regenerative: Double healing effectivness and natural healing, even without saturation
- Parkour: Double run speed and jump height, climb and hold onto blocks
Volantego – Domain: Sky
Passive Ability:
- Focused: No fall damage, nausea effect immunity
Toggled Abilities:
- Restorer: Occasional equipment repair (inside full inventory)
- Freeflow: Swim in the air, very slow fall speed (crouch to fall faster)
Ichorsoul – Domain: Armageddon
Passive Abilities:
- Warrior: Double damage dealt, half damage recieved
- Perpetual: Fatal damage prevents death and switches player to spectator, while in spectator mode invincible to void, use secondary power key to return from spectator (after 3 min cooldown that starts after „death”)
Toggled Abilities:
- Ghoulwalk: Phase and walk through blocks (any block)
- Hard Punch: you deal 7 unarmed damage
- Slayer: Enemies below 40% hp are instant killed by you on the next hit
- Resilience: Immunne to projectiles, knockback and weakness, poison, slowness, wither effects
- Devour: Regain health and food for your bars every kill (2 for mobs, 10 for players)
- Hunter Sense: See players and mobs, even through walls, with a red glow effect (won't work properly if you have an entity culling mod installed)
