With Kingdom Constructor you can:
- Raid a verity of outposts, camps, castles, and forts.
- Recruit warriors to follow you and join your army
- As your army grows, assign warriors to different tasks including;
- Follower: Follows you into battle, no matter what.
- Guard: Guards an area, wandering around in search of threats.
- Patrol: Patrols between two set points, watching the walls for enemies.
- Tower: Stays in one fixed spot, always vigilant.
- As you become stronger, upgrade your warriors and feed them to keep them healthy. Keeping your army well-fed will help them stay refreshed for the next fight!
- Beware new dangers lurking in the forests. Brown Bears and Feral Hogs roam freely on the edges of the civilized land. Brown Bears can be tamed with Salmon and ridden into battle. You'll need to craft a Salmon on A Stick to guide them towards your enemies!

- Travel far and wide - from warm savannas to blistering taiga to climb the ranks as your army grows larger and stronger. Be sure to set up camp using Flags, ensuring that some your army stays behind while you and your followers scout ahead.
- Conquer the world and accrue power in this challenging kingdom builder!
HOW TO PLAY:
Beginning:
Start in a Savanna, Mesa, Swamp, or Jungle. These warm climates are home to the Barbarians, the lowest tier warrior faction you will encounter in Kingdom Constrictor. Savanna is the best biome to start in, because they tend to be quite large.
Warriors:
Each warrior faction has their own biome and climate preference, construction style, fighting style, and lore.
Barbarians are unskilled but fierce fighters. They inhabit the warm and wild climates of the Overworld, and patrol it from their shoddily constructed outposts and their mud-brick temples. Barbarians have defended the savanna from encroaching Woodsman settlement, and abandoned Woodsman outposts can be found within their territory.
Woodsman are loosely organized fighters and farmers who are trying to tame the wild forests of the Overworld. They reside in any forest they can, but have largely been cut back by more powerful factions like the Ironguard. They tend not to venture too far out of their forest outposts, but will often build towers on the edge of the forests to ensure they keep their claim.
The Stoneguard are the most successful and abundant warrior class in all the Overworld. They have claimed the wide-open plains as their home and have a cordial diplomatic relationship with the villagers. They keep mostly to themselves, but were once much further reaching than they are now. They are at war with the Ironguard, who have encroached on their territory. Smaller Stoneguard camps can be found all over the Overworld, meant to help protect villager trade routes and fight the invading Ironguard.
The Ironguard are a warlike and hearty group of fighters who have laid claim to the cold forests of the Overworld. Nobody knows what land they once called home, but they have since invaded the Taiga and decimated the once abundant Stoneguard presence in the region. The Villagers in Ironguard territory have become mercenaries, who will help you fight in exchange for payment. The Ironguards thirst for expansion is relentless, and their watchtowers can be found In nearly all regions of the Overoworld. They have also set up camps, scouting new locations to construct their outposts.
Mercenaries are warrior villagers for hire. Their camps and trade wagons can be found all over the Overworld, but many still occupy the ruins of the Taiga.
Bandits now also appear in the overworld, occasionally ambushing from out of nowhere. They put up a meager fight, and leave their stolen emeralds for the taking upon death.
NEW ITEMS:
Kingdom Constructor adds a suite of new items to facilitate your growing army.
- Parchment can be collected from fallen warriors and crafted into Conscripts.
- Conscripts can be used to Recruit warriors OR spawn warriors. However, spawned warriors must still be recruited. Conscripts also serve as the base for every other item and block you’ll use to command your army.
- Upgrades: Upgrades can be crafted from a Conscript and a warriors Weapon. (Wooden Axe, Wooden Sword, Stone Sword, Iron Sword). Warriors can be upgrade up to three times. With each upgrade, warriors gain more health, more damage output, and the ability to follow Commands.
- Commands: Commands can be crafted from a Conscript and a warriors armor. Some warriors don’t have full sets of armor and thus don’t have a full suite of commands. Commands include;
- Tower: Warrior will find a Tower block and stay there until an enemy is spotted.
- Guard: Warrior will stay near a Guard block and wander around nearby in search of enemies.
- Patrol: Warrior will move between Patrol Point 1 and Patrol Point 2 blocks until an enemy is spotted.
- Follow: Warrior will follow you. The follow command has them follow at a very high speed and ignore Flag Blocks which would otherwise keep them at home base.
- Salmon on A Stick: Can be crafted from a Fishing Rod and Raw Salmon to guide Brown Bears anywhere you may please.
- Spear: Spears can be crafted swiftly from sticks and flint. A favorite weapon on the Barbarians, they can be stacked in the hand and thrown in quick succession as you charge at your enemies.
- Charged Spear: A spear with a Fire Charge attached, made to breach through castle walls for a surprise attack.
- Stone Knife: A simple stone knife, made from sticks and flint. A go-to weapon of Bandits.
NEW BLOCKS:
- Flag Block: Flags can be crafted from a Conscript and a Base Block (Packed Mud, Oak Planks, Cobblestone, Stone Bricks). When in hand, the Flag will have your warriors follow you more closely and more quickly. When placed, the Flag will have your warriors remain near it until it is picked back up. These are great for setting up camp near a dangerous area so that your army can stay behind while you scout ahead!
- Command Blocks: These are necessary for most commands to work.
- Tower: Crafted from a Tower command and a Base Block. This is where your Tower warrior will stay.
- Guardpost: Crafted from a Guard command and a Base Block, this marks the area where your Guard warrior will mill about.
- Patrol Point 1: Crafted from a Patrol command and a Base Block. This will be the starting point of your warriors Patrol area.
- Patrol Point 2: Crafted from Patrol Point 1 when placed in a crafting table. This will be the end point of your warriors Patrol area. The area can be as far as about 32 blocks.
[BE WARNED] This addon is created to present quite a challenge, and warriors have roughly the same health and damage output as the player. Meaning, unless you have some serious armor and weapons, you can't just barge into an enemy camp and defeat your foes all on your own. Progression happens slowly, and you may encounter many setbacks on your journey. Can you forge a kingdom in this unforgiving land?
Conquered all there is to find? Great! Keep an eye on this page for the second part of this addon "Kingdom Constructor: Gilded Age", which will double the size of the existing addon with even stronger factions, more warrior variety, and new secrets to discover!
