Syngas: sawdust/wood pulp = too much carbon?

1 wood produces so much of it

Forestry carpenter : 4

Rotarycraft grinder : 16

TE sawmill to rotarycraft grinder : 24 + occasional charcoal from compressed TE sawdust

Since wood pulp is as potent per piece as charcoal, coal or logs this is maybe a bit much.... I've certainly exploited the carpenter ☺, but I'd like you to ruin everyone else's fun.

Now a lot goes into a grinder compared to a carpenter, so RoC sawdust should probably not be nerfed more than forestry wood pulp is.

But maybe you considered all this, and like the rewards of carbon preprocessing to be substantial, if so, should charcoal be worth more than logs?

Love your mods bro, keep up the good work. Also: if you ever get around to the large scale fermentation/distillation will they be machines within the advanced generators mod?

I think i'll leave it as-is.

RC wood pulp is oredicted to the same entry as forestry pulp, TE sawdust, etc. To change it i would have to switch the config to specific items from every mod, and as i said by the time you have a grinder and sawmill and the means to power them getting more wood is super easy, so i don't think it's worth the hassle.

Frankly I think you're right, cheers.

the question is.. what is syngas?
is it a carbon product thats a result of burning things? if so then burning more effeciently is good right?
thats my thought

In real life it's a mix of H2 and CO, produced by combining overheated water vapor in an airless environment with stuff containing carbon (usually coal).

It could be handwaved that it's more efficient, but really it's more a question of game balance rather than realistic efficiency.

hmmm so somehow in the system with just heat it combines to that :) handwavving is best here imho :)

I'll need to take a closer look at it before i decide anything, but to be honest by the time you have a RoC grinder getting more wood to burn isn't really an issue in most packs.
