Server Crash - 1.7.10 - Ticking entity

I found out that throwing a Lightsaber at a nether portal is a bad idea, but now everytime i go into the nether even with an empty inventory the server will still crash..

I would also like to ask how can i stop the lightsabers in mid flight getting taken by clearlagg?
Happened to us too.
Except going back into the nether does not continue to crash the server for us.
