So I am having an issue with my unbreakable tools shattering in my hands like vanilla tools. Well actually just my axe because of another mod called tree harvester, It enables a player to chop down any tree in one swing and use durability from the axe for each block chopped this way. In general this works fine but occasionally when the durability is low and the next tree you chop down has a certain amount of blocks over the durability, not sure how much the tool shatters instead of just breaking.

What is the difference between shattering and breaking?

So with this mod when a tool runs out of durability it breaks and enters a broken state. I was using shatter so as to use a different word for the tool actually breaking and leaving my inventory and not entering the broken state.

I tried it with Reap and it worked fine. So now I have to figure out whats different to the tree harvester mod.

If yes I unfortunately can't look into their code, because it is closed source. It would be the best thing to open a new issue on their mod.
It seems that they just blindly decrease the durability of the tool, regardless of the tools implementation.
