Gilded Games presents the original Aether mod! Up to date for modern Minecraft versions and fully compatible with multiplayer!
The Aether is a dimension high in the sky composed of floating islands! Ascend through a Glowstone portal and begin a new survival adventure packed with new ores, mythical creatures and perilous Dungeons!
All you need to do is build a Glowstone frame and add water to light the mystical portal, step in and you'll be transported immediately to the luscious hostile paradise known as the Aether!
A whole new adventure!
The Aether’s world is full of fantastical creatures, powerful materials and mysterious Dungeons. Traverse this new survival world and utilise the Aether’s many new resources to best fearsome bosses found in the Aether’s three Dungeons.
The Bronze Dungeon is the home of the Sentries and guarded by the ominous Slider, a creature born of pure stone. Look out for hidden tunnels through islands and prepare yourself with the best gear you can craft!
The Silver Dungeon is the beautiful Valkyrie Temple. Challenge the knights of the Valkyrie Order and, if you prove worthy, fight the Valkyrie Queen herself. Utilise every tool and trick you can to best this ancient warrior.
Within the rare Gold Dungeon lies the Sun Spirit, an eternal being of pure fire and energy. He is the God that rules the very Sun itself and will take some convincing to even pay attention to a being such as yourself. But it is rumoured he guards some of the best treasure that exists in the Aether.
Eternal Day
The Sun Spirit commands Sunlight! While the Sun Spirit is active, the Sun never sets on the Aether. If he were to be bested in combat though, darkness may fall on the skylands, bringing out terrible creatures from the shadows…
A newly added Skyroot Bed lets you set your respawn point in the Aether! But it may be hard to sleep while the Sun remains in the sky.
