This is a mod that I've been working on for some time. First off I want to say that this is not for "The Aether" mod (previously known as "Aether Legacy"). This addon is made for the Aether (v1.02) mod for Minecraft Beta 1.7.3.,
My goal with this mod was to expand on the aether dimension without changing any of the base mechanics or changing the feel of the mod and I personally feel like I've done a good job of doing that. I mainly wanted to expand on the accessory system because I feel like the idea of it has a lot of potential but unfortunately there aren't many accessory options in the base mod. I didn't only add in accessories but that was the main goal with this addon.
One more thing to know is that some of the items in this mod have the same textures from "Aether: Lost Content" (addon for "The Aether"). I just want to be clear that I did not steal any of these textures. The textures that these mods share are taken from the original Aether mod. In the game files there are unused assets so I decided to add them in.

With that being said here is the list of all items added in and their functions:

-Right clicking it will give the player 6 hearts.
-You may also hit a player/mob to heal it as well.
-Upon use, the staff will lose 600 durability per heal.
-The gem at the tip of the staff will also get darker.
-Once the remaining durability is 600 or less, the staff will not be able to be used.
-The staff will regenerate 1 durability per tick.
-The staff will only regenerate durability when it is in a player's inventory, when stored in a container durability will not regenerate. This is due to a technical limitation of minecraft.
-Has a 5 second cooldown. Player will receive a message when this cooldown is finished if they have a staff in their inventory.
-Player will not be able to hit an entity if the staff is on cooldown or has less than 600 durability (this will not work in multiplayer).

-Amount of HP healed can be configured in the config.
-The staff has extended entity reach (up to 7 blocks).
-Found in bronze dungeons.
Hammer of Jeb:
-The Jeb Hammer is a tool that acts like a paxel but it has a few abilities.
-It has 2001 durability.
-It mines extremely fast.
-Right clicking will activate/deactivate area mode.
-Area mode allows the hammer to mine a 3x3 area when a block is broken.
-Durability cost of area mode is 5 durability per each block.
-When in area mode, the hammer will mine at the speed of an iron pickaxe.
-Can be found in silver dungeons.
-If the Lucky Pendant is equipped and aether ores are being mined, there is a 25% chance that the ore drops will double. Read the Lucky Pendant section for more info and details.
Fist of mine_diver:
-The Fist of mine_diver is a tool that acts like a paxel but has a few abilities.
-It has 3001 durability.
-It mines very fast, although not as fast as the Hammer of Jeb.
-It has extended reach, allowing players to mine up to 8 blocks in front of them as opposed to the normal 4.
-It has extended entity reach, allowing the players to hit an entity from up to 8 blocks away.
-If the ability is ready, right clicking on a block will consume 30 durability and knockout a massive 5x5x7 area of blocks, all the blocks destroyed will be dropped.
-The ability cannot destroy bedrock, aether dungeon traps or locked dungeon stone.
-If the ability isn't ready and you right click a block, nothing will happen to the blocks and a message will be sent in chat saying the remaining time before the ability is used.
-There is a 10 second cooldown on the ability.
-Found in gold dungeons.
Phoenix Sword:
-A sword that does more damage than a diamond sword.
-Has 1501 durability.

-The fireball projectile ability has a 3 second cooldown.
-Found in gold dungeons.
Phoenix Pickaxe, Axe and Shovel:

-If the player tries to use the cape while it's at 1 durability, it will send a message to the player.
-It costs 40 ambrosium shards to repair the Lucky Pendant.
-Since the cape can't lose durability when there is 1 durability remaining, it is unbreakable. It just needs to be repaired.
-When worn, all fall damage will be negated as long as durability is greater than 1.
-Negating fall damage doesn't consume any durability but still requires it to be greater than 1.
-The cape negating fall damage does not use any durability.
-When in midair, you may press the spacebar to do up to 3 high jumps.
-This does stack with gravitite armor so if a full set of gravitite armor is equipped, the jump limit will be increased to 4.
-If gravitite set is worn, the 1st high jump will not take any durability from the cape.
-The cape's abilities will not work when riding an entity.
-The cape has a GUI element in the bottom right of the screen that tells the player how many jumps are left on the cape. It's very similar to the system the Moa uses.
-Found in gold dungeons.
Colored capes:
-This mod expands on Aether's cosmetic capes in many ways.
-All of this can be configured in the config.
-It adds in 6 new colored capes. Green, brown, orange, black, pink and purple.
-All of these may be crafted out of vanilla wools.
-If the MoreWools mod is installed, some of those wools may also be used as alternate wools to craft these capes.
-There is also an option for some of the wools from the MoreWool mod to add alternate recipes to the default cosmetic aether capes.
-Finally, with the MoreWool mod the Turquoise cape will be added.
-Unlike all the other capes in this mod, the Turquoise cape must have more wools in order to initialize because it's only recipe is from wools from the mod.
-If MoreWool's isn't installed then the extra recipes for the capes and the turquoise capes won't be initialized.
-You will still be able to craft the green, brown, orange, black, pink and purple capes though.

-Found in gold dungeons.
-When attacked by a entity, there is a 15% chance that the shield will block 100% of the incoming damage and create a massive explosion around the player.
-The explosion will not cause any fires, damage any blocks or damage the player who is wearing it. But it will deal massive damage to surrounding entities.
-This random ability has a 3 second cooldown.

All items in this mod have custom entries in the Book of Lore.
I also took the liberty of fixing an old Aether bug. Players will now drop their accessories when they die instead of the accessories just being deleted. If you still want to play with this original bug you can disable the accessory dropping in the config.
This mod also has its own set of achievements so have fun with those.
This mod increases the minimum amount of items that can spawn in a dungeon loot chest from 3 to 4 and the max amount of items from 6 to 7. This is done to make each item less common, this mod adds a lot of items to the loot table so finding a specific item is hard. If you don't like this change it can be disabled in the config.
Please note that this mode isn't finished. I may add more things in the future. If you have any recommendations please let me know. You can contact me on twitter. My account is @meefy_seven. Also contact me if you find any bugs.
Feel free to distribute this, modify it and put it in any of your modpacks. I just ask that you give me credit and you don't sell this for money. Please note that I reserve the right to change these terms and take whatever actions
I want should I see fit.
Finally, I'd like to say that I hope you enjoy this mod. I've been working on this addon on and off for months but in the end I think it turned out really well :D.
