Steps to Reproduce
The most extreme case can take some time to reproduce using spawn eggs, but this is what I was able to do:
- Find a concave curved piece of terrain
- Spawn Aerwhales nearby until one of them flies into it
What You Expect To Happen
I expect no Aerwhale to be stuck on the same piece of land for more than five to ten seconds, maybe with a failsafe that forces them to only turn in one direction until they become unstuck.
What Actually Happened
In the most extreme case, an aerwhale will be nearly stationary, quickly trying to turn to the left and then the right and back again with little to show for it.
Additional Details
This is where I was able to reproduce it using spawn eggs, with the egg used on the blocks that the cursor is pointing at (the pictured Aerwhale took seven minutes to get unstuck). In survival, I have seen this happen three or four times, especially around trees and my own artifical structures (I will provide a couple screenshots of those if desired).
