Is This Bug a Conflict With Another Mod?

It does not appear to be a mod conflict, as even without any other mods installed, Aether will not launch.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Press "play"
  2. Game loads
  3. Game crashes immediately

What You Expect To Happen

I expect the game to launch.

What Actually Happened

The game does not, in fact, launch.

Additional Details

I have updated my drivers and Java, I have tried to manually select Java directories, and I am able to launch normal Minecraft regularly without issue. My other modpacks work fine; it seems to be specifically something about the Aether mod and I lack the tools or expertise to diagnose my issue.

I have discovered the problem. I did not in fact select the correct Java destination path before! I now have, and I am currently able to play.

Please share a log from the crash-reports folder, there is nothing of use in the given log.

I would suggest maybe reinstalling and reconfiguring Java. Something seems up with your installation in some way. Either that or possibly backport to 45.1.0, but I don't know if that would fix anything on 1.19.4 the same way it does in 1.20.1.
