Is This an Enhancement to a Preexisting Feature?
- I confirm this request is an enhancement to a feature already in The Aether.
What Is Your Feature Request?
Make Aether fuel configurable by having an option where people could add ids to a list and assign them a fuel value and table.
Why Should It Be in the Mod?
This would allow modpack developers and addons to easily add/remove to the list of Aether fuels. For example, if somebody added more Icestone block variants and wanted to make them Freezer fuels, they could with this feature. Alternatively, if someone decided that they didn't want Ambrosium Blocks to be used as a fuel they could remove it from the list of entries.
Does This Feature Improve Compatibility With Another Mod?
Would improve potential integration in modpacks and with future addons/mods wishing to add compatibility
Please Read and Confirm the Following
- I have confirmed this feature is either in the original Aether mod, or improves parity between The Aether and Minecraft or other mods.
- I have confirmed this suggestion is unique and has not been suggested already.
This exists in data packs in 1.20.4 and up through NeoForge's implementation of datamaps: https://github.com/The-Aether-Team/The-Aether/tree/1.20.4-develop/src/generated/resources/data/aether/data_maps/item. In 1.20.1 the fuel system can be interacted with using CraftTweaker: https://github.com/The-Aether-Team/The-Aether/tree/1.20.1-develop/src/main/java/com/aetherteam/aether/integration/crafttweaker
