Hi! 

This is my first mod, so be gentle. It is made with MCreator and is still in development. It requires Curios API (as of 1.1.5) and Geckolib as a dependency.

 NECROMANCY UPDATE (1.1.0)

The first major update for this mod!

The Lich were once nobles of an ancient race of humanoids. However, their kind became beguiled by the prospect of achieving eternal life. They delved into several strains of dark arts and technology, harvesting the soul essence of living beings for research. Upon completing the damned ritual that granted them immortality, Death appeared before the transformed Nobles. Repulsed by their hubris, Death cursed their eternal bodies to unliving life, undying death. They thus became known as the Tainted.

Now, traveller of these lands. You must decide: do you raise your sword against these ancient horrors and condemn them to oblivion, or do you join their ranks and dabble in their tainted arts? If you choose the latter; be warned, for those who trek the path of the Tainted, Death forgets not, forgives not…

To become a necromancer, you have to kill liches to acquire a Necronomicon and read it, gaining the Malediction of Undeath effect. Then, with a Tainted dagger, kill humanoid mobs to gain Tainted souls. Use these souls to craft Tainted Steel and create the Soul Centrifuge. With this, you 'compress' the souls into Tainted Soul Gems and craft the Altar of Reanimation. Using this, you can craft several artifacts that allow you to become a necromancer.

Concept:

Akrion RPG expansion is aimed at bringing traditional and staple fantastical elements to the minecraft world. 
Forge 1.19.2. Unfortunately, no planned fabric port in the near future, but feel free to do so yourself after notifying me.

Anyhow, heres what is added:
- RARE ARTIFACTS: a variety of weapons and items that are difficult to obtain, but empower you once you obtain them.
-LEGENDARY ARTIFACTS: Unique weapons that are not (yet) obtainable in survival. In the future, several of them will be obtained through slaying minibosses, but ill have to get better at modelling and coding...
Orc Faction: weapons, mobs, and items. 

Dwarven faction: weapons and blocks inspired by LOTR dwarven architecture and design. No mobs for now.
Elven faction (WIP): a handful of weapons.
Undead faction: Weapons, mobs, and items revolving around necromancy and the undead.
As well as other medieval weapons inspired by Western, Nordic, Japanese, and Ancient Egyptian culture. 

Compatabilities & Dependencies:

- Curios API for several item equip effects (as of 1.1.5)

- Better Combat mod: all modded weapons are compatible with attack animations.

- Epic Knights: My Bronze and silver ingots are compatible with EpicKnights recipes, and several modded weapons use EpicKnight items in recipes. I suggest installing both mods for full experience!
- Other mods: There shouldn't be any issue with other forge mods, but if anything arises, please do notify me!

Future plans:
-Lizard folk: they live in jungles and do lizard things. 
-A slew of blocks for dwarven and gothic architecture for your builds.
- Soul Magic and Spirit Summoning.
