I know you said you didn’t add bismuth or nickel because you didn’t want to, but you could always just have it detect if bismuth or nickel are in the ore directory or forge tags or whatever, and have it change the recipe to use those metals, I know thermal foundation adds nickel, and there’s a mod called super tech mode that will eventually support obtaining both nickel and bismuth in survival. And just make it so that alt recipe doesn’t have a flake variant if you don’t want to add the fakes, this is just an idea, if you feel it’s dumb just close it as won’t do
