You created one of the best mods for ores, thank you!

On MC 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.34 it is working the way I expected. Every ore activated over the config tool of Create.

With the MC tools every ore dropping the expected blocks. With Tinker tools there are only the XP, but no blocks.

Have I missed something? Is this only happening on my installation? Please help!

I just tried to mine blocks with tinkers' tools and you are right, this is a bug... After a quick look at the code, it appears than the deprecated code I use is the reason blocks do not drop with TiC tools.
I will not fix it, because it would mean to say goodbye to customizable harvest levels in config file, which is very useful in my opinion. Maybe I'll fix it in a future version, who knows ? But for now I'm not interested in modding.
I will publish the 1.18 branch to Github, if you are interested in making your own custom version, the fix would be adding some .json files (needs_iron_tool, needs_diamond_tool...) and a few lines of code to delete.
