Ancient Frogs is a mod that adds 6 new mobs, 4 of them focused on frogs! These new frogs will appear in the swamps and mangroves, and in the new structures that the mod adds, the mod also adds a new boss, an ancient frog that has managed to defeat hundreds of opponents, will you be able to defeat it?
MOBS
LESSER FROG:
The lesser frog is the weakest of all those added by the mod, to date they do not have any drops, they spawn in small groups in swamps and mangroves, they are very united, how cute, but do not think that they are docile, they are very poisonous, It's better to stay away from them... At first I was inspired by an Agalychnis annae, but I modified it because I wanted it to look more like the one we have in our vanilla Minecraft.
UPPER FROG:
This colossal frog of large proportions appears in swamps and mangrove swamps just like the other one, but this one on the other hand is much stronger, it is as strong as an iron golem, it currently has no drop, it is very territorial, it will attack even those of its own. same species (also the lesser frogs, not other passive mobs because I was too lazy to add them... I will do so in a future update), but look at his eye, what happened to him? It could be her genetics... or the radiation, who knows, this mob will act as a mini boss, good luck finishing her off.
ANCIENT FROG:
I present to you the ancient frog, the star mob of my mod, this new boss has more life than the Wither himself, it is also very strong, this mob can leave you a new item, and even a trophy! You will have 2 ways to find it, in its respective structure, or you are unlucky enough to find it in the world, the poor thing is already very old, but it is still formidable, its origin or age is not exactly known, but it is as old as history from Minecraft, she has had many battles, and was blinded by one of them, she has remained hidden for centuries due to the damage they caused her, but she woke up again to dominate her old world. Can you defeat her? or they will use you as a punching bag...
Oh and did I tell you I could breathe fire?
MINION:
What is this, a fish with legs? No, it's one of the minions that will help the ancient frog. Wait, is it a mother? Despite being weak, the purpose of this mob is to be a nuisance for the player, They are slippery. I think it's over to me. They are very annoying because of their size, so good luck.
FLY:
There is not much to say... it is a fly and... they barely measure a few pixels, they spawn in swamps and mangroves, they serve as an environment and food for the frogs.
NEFARIN:
This mob is original to this mod, it has nothing to do with frogs, but I wanted a kind of spirit that will help the frogs against the player, I was inspired by the terrifying seraphs, this mob can, in addition to flying, and when attacking you it will blind you, and when you manage to kill him, there is a rare chance that he will release his eye, with this in addition to being able to craft the new obsidian sticks you can create positions of blindness!
NEW WEAPONS!
MACUAHUITL:
This ancient Aztec weapon is as lethal as the netherite sword, there is not much mystery in it, at the moment it has nothing special, it has no crafting, but you can find it in its respective structure.
ANCIENT SCYTHE:
And here, the biggest prize of the mod, a very fast weapon with 20 attack, the ancient scythe is an ancient weapon that will take time to forge but it will be worth using this beauty
HOW TO GET IT?
There are 2 ways, like the macuahuitl, you can find it in their respective structures, but this is very rare since you can only find it in the chests with the highest loot, but then there is the other way, first after defeating the ancient frog you will obtain its fragments, after using netherite ingots on a blacksmithing table you can create the ancient ingots:
Then with obsidian and dark eyes that the nefarines drop, you create obsidian sticks.
With the previous objects you can create the ancient scythe.
POTIONS
Now you can create stamina potions with ancient fragments for those difficult situations.
You can also create blindness potions to annoy your friends... first you must create night vision potions and then with a dark eye you can create them.
Also if you want more ancient shards and don't want to have annoying farming looking for other dungeons or kill other ancient frogs, you can duplicate them with goat horns! at least they won't be so useless now.
