When looking away from a roguelike dungeon, I average 800FPS, when looking at the roguelike dungeon,I average 150FPS.
This doesnt sound so bad overall but this is on a very good pc, a 5x decrease in framerate just from mob spawners alone is kind of a big deal, especially on lower end pcs.

Therefore i suggest a feature to cull spawner animations based on distance from player, or if the spawner is visible, whichever is easier to do or makes most sense.
